European mind cannot comprehend this.

Americans treat their politics like basketball games - with stars singing, crowds shouting, and everyone zealously supporting their side.

It looks much more entertaining than our cold European politics, but I guess this sports fan attitude might play a role in polarizing society.

That’s why they have a polarized society, they treat it as though two teams came to fight for a cup and they are just in the crowd cheering.
So called sports teams which have a direct/indirect say in their future.
