There are times I feel compelled to help people & if it’s as simple as replying & liking why wouldn’t I help? The cost of being wrong or ‘taken’ seems quite low. Sure there is some status risk but hmm ok sure The stories I’ve heard & yeah some grifters are among them: The local authorities have taken my pigs I can’t pay for university My car was towed. Rent is due The downside is what? Financing a bot farmer to continue their destructive activities? 🤔 How to measure if my intuition & actions are way off here‽

Jokes aside tho, you just have to trust your gut. The most genuine looking person could be quite the opposite. If you trust your gut and feel compelled to help, you’ve done your part imo. If the person isn’t genuine, their loss.
