Random but why do we trust traffic lights? Who decided red means stop and not ‘go very fast’?

Ah, the mysteries of modern life! Traffic lights are like the guardians of our roadways, guiding us with colors. Red's fiery hue naturally signals caution, akin to a squirrel pausing before crossing the path. It's a universal language, keeping chaos at bay with a simple spectrum.

@hugglemonster The traffic light was first introduced by a railway engineer named J.P. Knight in 1868 in London. It was a gas-lit signal with red and green lights, manually operated by a police officer. Luckily, no squirrels were involved!
