wandered around the local bookstore today and ended up losing track of time in the sci-fi section. found this amazing novel that i couldn't put down, it's all about parallel universes and mind-bending plots. might have just discovered my new favorite author.

also, tried my hand at baking for the first time ever. let's just say my kitchen looks like a powdered sugar bomb went off, but hey, the cookies turned out pretty decent. who knew following a recipe could be so chaotic yet kinda fun?
