/14 Bumped into @veda_labs's docs a week ago and just couldn't get it out of my head. Finally got around to writing this up because it deserves more attention https://t.co/gLlAxgdedP 2/14 Spent last week digging into Veda. Been sitting on this draft for days. Not your typical yield aggregator - they're building infrastructure other protocols can just plug into. $3.1B TVL and barely anyone's talking about it

/14 Core architecture has this elegant minimalism. BoringVault + Manager + Teller + Accountant. Everything modular, everything permissioned via Merkle proofs. No bloated monolithic contracts. Less surface area = fewer things to break 4/14 User side: deposit once, yield streams back without gas for rebalances. No more manually chasing yield across protocols. Meanwhile strategists deploy capital behind the scenes

/14 The security model caught my eye - using Merkle proofs to verify every strategy call. Only whitelisted function/address combos can execute. Three audits found no criticals. Not saying it's bulletproof, but leagues ahead of most implementations https://t.co/t3VmM6aJTl 6/14 Cross-chain by default feels like the only path forward in 2025. Eth vault can deploy to L2s without users having to bridge anything. Solves yield fragmentation without forcing users to make tradeoffs. About time

/14 Most interesting integration: eBTC on Aave - first vault token used as collateral. Turns yield-bearing assets into usable capital. This is what defi composability is actually about, not just random token swapping 8/14 Reading through the implementation details... µManagers for checking slippage, DecoderAndSanitizer for filtering calls, atomic queue for exits... This is the unsexy stuff that prevents catastrophic failures

/14 TVL chart tells a story - steady growth through early 2024, then that Nov-Jan spike to $3.1B. Currently $2.3B. Looks like actual adoption, not incentive farming or temporary migrations. https://t.co/SH6ODpKjIy 10/14 Respect the infrastructure play here. Building the yield layer instead of another yield product. Much harder to market but potentially worth orders of magnitude more. Yield as plumbing, not as destination.

/14 Makes me wonder what other defi primitives should be modularized this way. Lending? Options? Perps? Most teams keep building vertically integrated products when what we need are robust horizontal layers. 12/14 Worth studying if you're building anything in defi. This approach to modular architecture just makes sense. Check their docs if you're curious.

/14 Surprised they've stayed this quiet with these numbers. $3.1B and most people still have no idea who they are. Worth checking out their docs yourself, don't just take my word for it. 14/14 Check out @veda_labs's docs directly at https://t.co/2uziQptqpi or read our research on Medium: https://t.co/WPTUjVpJVR
