In the previous cycle, the altcoin market always placed its hopes on Ethereum, because Ethereum’s strong performance gave other altcoins hope for growth. But in the current cycle, Ethereum has performed very weakly, while competitors like Solana have shown outstanding results — albeit in a more "casino-like" manner. It’s as if Ethereum is self-sabotaging and doesn’t even need a killer; its rivals no longer need to fight it. I believe one of the main reasons is the weak and passive performance of the Ethereum Foundation, as well as the Layer 2s, which have acted like a dagger to its body. What other reasons do you think are involved?
