Not even for accounts sharing potentially malicious links? I know I can mute but doesn’t feel great I can’t protect users in my channel from getting drained @dwr.eth @horsefacts.eth @v

You can still hide and ban with moderation tools, but they are not in the Warpcast client. If you want this level of control you should: 1) Enable moderation 2) Disable the "recent" feed for your channel ("Edit Channel > Configure Moderation") At this point your channel will only show content the moderator curates into the main feed. But you might not want to be responsible for curating everything, you probably want some basic automated rules, so: 3) Add a moderation bot like /automod or /airstack and set up some rules, like "anyone I follow can show up in the main feed automatically." 4) If unwanted content gets into the main feed, use /automod or /airstack Hide/Ban actions to hide content or ban users.

We have one rule set up in Automod, "exclude any cast with the letter E":

...but if something sneaks through, like this spam post, I use the "Hide" cast action from /automod to remove it:
