In the sense that getting funding through the front door feels like waiting in a slow and overcrowded process trying to get what you need, while if you’re a smarmy BD person you can get meetings at events and get what you need. But by selecting for a specific type of person (a good salesman) you aren’t getting a good product, you’re helping a buddy. You’re being “sold”.
