I don't know if I have a good answer myself: folklore and reading contemporary code stand out as most influential for me when it comes to Solidity. I've always been more of a Lisp weenie than a bit twiddler. I'd probably point to testing classics like GOOS that taught me how to think rigorously about testing.

I'm good at making mistakes. Sometimes I improve, but I never make the same mistake twice.
