4 days after starting, a full disc (my bad - kinda - had to install a new 2gb ssd and didn’t update the path correctly) and I have 17 hours left eta on my geth node build. Decentralisation is definitely not for anyone who doesn’t know sysadmin… I’m not bitching… I’m learning and thinking.

Why not use erigon or reth. They are much faster to sync

Are you planning to stake, or is this a non-validator node?

I'm considering running an EVM node (not necessarly mainnet).
Running a Bitcoin node is a piece of cake with Umbrel, I wish there would be a similar solution for IPFS / geth / Hubble etc.
