The crowdstrike kerfuffle certainly makes the point for the need for a more distributed tech ecosystem, peer to peer resilience, and no centralised control of money at the point of transaction. It’s a point that will be ignored, but it’s still there to be made.

Yeah I don’t really get why people are emphasising that it was not *microsoft* but it was (insert highly technical explanation). Don’t put all your eggs in one basket 🤷♂️
