Lest there is confusion about the manners of the Trump/Zelensky meeting, the correct etiquette is Zelensky is a president of a democracy. It is below his pay grade to talk to Vance, just a VP, and talking to him is above Vance’s station and he should stay quiet. Regardless, only a boorish man would embarrass a guest.
