Just grabbed take-out where their “extra hot” barely registered as spicy. I’m sure they're catering to the clientele, but I want to be able to order food at a spiciness level that causes me physical anguish. They need an "I expect this to give me caustic diarrhea" level of spiciness.

I get extremely stressed out when I try new things but I’m also very obsessive and will keep going until I get good at it. This reliably happens for anything with any learning difficulty level, cooking, drawing, programming, work, etc. It effectively means I associate learning with a kind of panic feeling.

Something strangely obvious and remarkable about how you can see the taste just shoot up in rich neighborhoods in the bay area when surfing Facebook Marketplace. SF = West Elm-ish, Marin = DWR, Corte Madera = Antiques.
