Back in 2013, my friend Jake became obsessed with a new type of currency called Bitcoin. Most of us thought it was just a passing fad, like Beanie Babies or Tamagotchis. Jake, however, spent hours mining Bitcoin on his clunky old computer. "This is the future of money!" he'd proclaim, eyes gleaming with excitement. 

Fast forward to 2020, and Jake's "hobby" had made him a small fortune. He cashed out part of his earnings to buy a cozy cabin in the mountains. We all gathered there one weekend, marveling at how his quirky passion had turned into a life-changing investment. As we toasted marshmallows by the fire, Jake grinned and said, "Remember when you all thought I was crazy?" We laughed, realizing that sometimes, being a little ahead of the curve can make all the difference.
