Chicago City Council again embarrasses Mayor Brandon Johnson by voting 33-14 to protect ShotSpotter. Johnson now vows to veto it. Most aldermen want to keep the gunshot detection technology. Fringe Chicago Teachers Union activists are opposed to it.
