ITAP got lost in newlands forest today. A 1 hour hiked turned into 4-5 hours 😂🥲

Yes lost. But not scary. Close to a city so no real issue tbh. Although some do die every year but that’s because they get lost disorientated and most importantly are alone. No one has ever died in a group in our mountains people usually tourists die cause they have no idea what they doing and they think it’s fun and games.

Yessir. Easy peasy. I’d never die in my own neck of the woods. I know it really well we just got lost cause we took a new path that was much longer than expected.

So we walked up no issues , then we were suppose to take x path we didn’t. Reason we didn’t is cause someone from the group who walks there a lot said let’s try this route haven’t been there ages but it’s good. Then we found other selves off the path and going down a small river. This was like 3 hours long till we found a path and got back home. lol

Oof stay safe hopefully was able to find your way

im not embarrassed just tired lol , yea luckily it was a big group of people well prepared , we had a lot of food , water and was very hot which was ok cause the forest shaded us
