Founded in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the existing buildings follow the shape of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The main building has three floors, four columns, flying eaves, a helmet roof, and a pure wooden structure. It is famous for Fan Zhongyan's "Record of Yueyang Tower" in the Northern Song Dynasty.
