Did you start thinking about Farcaster while at Coinbase? 
Was the original idea close enough to what FC is today or was it materially different?

Didn't actually crystallize until Varun and I started working through the idea from first principles in 2020.

Spam - everyone pays the protocol in ETH

No deterministic way to compensate hub operators without massive fraud 

Warps won’t be decentralized. They are specific to Warpcast. No fluctuation. 

If there was a clear use case, otherwise distraction from the important thing which is growing DAU.
