The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican is one of the most beautiful and extraordinary paintings in the world; The best work of art that was painted in the style of wall painting during the years 1508 to 1512. Michelangelo worked alone for hours on top of the scaffolding to paint this work. The total area of the wall painting is approximately 500 square meters and includes more than 300 figures.
