To be honest I very rarely use my main feed now a days. There’s specific accounts and channels I like to follow. At times there is a lot of dross on my main feed. Quality over quantity focus on those who you know deliver great content.

The meaning of the channel has faded a lot due to the improvement of Home Feed. If we write on the channel for no reason, it can be a problem when we receive an answer, so I don't know if you have to post on the channel.
