A little halfway into The Bodyguard for the first time. Thoughts - Kevin Costner is a red flag but hot and Whitney Houston is breathtaking but also has red flags. His character is in deep need of therapy lmao he is such a control freak - and not just in the job of being a bodyguard, but his language is so possessive and sulky. He thinks he knows best 🥲 But I have hope bc her character is strong, even tho her character also does give male gaze (and some female gaze too) but it’s clearly written by men who could also use a bout of therapy lol

Meh. I enjoyed it, but really annoyed that the older more homely sister was the person who orchestrated the assassination and the rest of Rachel’s team was all men, and for KC that kind of “I know best” is such a turnoff IMO
