How should the niners have played OT differently?

Should they have kicked?

Should they have gone for it on 4th?

Or did they make the right decisions?

Giving Mahomes the second possession in OT with the game on the line was the mistake IMO

I don't think there is even a debate here.. Mahomes said they would have went for 2 (would bet that would've been successful). The bottom line here is that the Niners did not have a game plan for overtime, even if Shanahan says they did. They had no idea what they were doing!

They made the right decision IMO. The Niners should have scored a TD on their possession which would have aligned with what Kyle wanted. They didn't. Then the DC and defense didn't do their part to limit KC to a tie at most. Costly mistakes. Wish Kyle stepped in on defense at 2nd and 14, but it is what it is.
