Fun(ny) story: my brother and I thought we struck GOLD when we scored tickets to see Pharcyde play with The Roots as backing band… When we got there we saw in small print “and friends” We were like “huh? wtf” and the show was just a bunch of random late-90’s/2000’s rappers and they didn’t play one Pharcyde track

That sucks! I saw The Pharcyde with the Roots opening (or playing with them) in the late 90s or early 00s at the Anaheim HOB (Disneyland). It was funny, they kept warning people about smoking pot so every few minutes you would see a light down on the crowd and security grabbing people and tossing them out.
