Seems they are going for the same strategy as the Merge, running things is parallel and then switching. I think people will get aggravated at the 5 years line, but there are improvements the entire way, 10x  for L1 in year 2026.

I like it overall.

yeah that'll be the big thing, the timeline but again, i think they have medium size yearly wins on the way to that 5 year goal. (10x here and there.

This is actually kind of like when people were going crazy about how ETH with never switch to staking.

Yeah def a ‘turning the ship’ scenario playing out here. Seems like this is the smart move, especially amid stiffening competition, though part of me thinks the timeline might have to be accelerated
