Wrapping up on the last of the data-scraping to disprove the whole "Polygon is the payments chain, Base is for idle assets" narrative that Polygon's 'marketing' team have been pushing.

Funniest part is, just doing the on-chain scraping has already told me the answers.

Despite the Base RPC I'm using being a bit faster/more responsive than the Polygon RPC, it took about 4x longer to pull down the data from the same date range.

Glanced at the results, and yep, it pulled down about 4x the amount of transactions.

So the "idle assets" argument is already out the window by tx volume alone.
