Along with a friend, I went on a cultural trip to Xi'an, the old capital of China’s Tang dynasty. At the historic Yongning Gate, artists dressed in traditional Hanfu greet guests before leading us to watch a spectacular performance that highlights Tang Dynasty culture. The old walls of Xi'an have weathered thousands of years of history, and over forty foreign leaders have visited the ancient walls and gates. Visitors can also ride bikes on the ancient wall, which takes at least two hours to walk around.
