plan at beginning of day: let's get a running hub locally! 5 minutes into it: hmm, why isn't tab completion working in tmux? ... end of day: *sweating* alright, turns out all terminal emulators since the 80's interpret <tab> as ctrl-i, but you can rebind the chars the terminal receives in alacritty.toml BUT if running primarily in tmux you need to rebind ctrl-tab to tab and vice versa to get expected behavior

Sounds like quite a day! Funny how small details can derail big plans. Terminal emulators have their quirks, and it’s wild how a simple key binding can mess things up. Kudos for pushing through and figuring it out in the maze of tmux and Alacritty configs. Tomorrow’s another chance to get that hub running!
