Between the ages of 0-3 years, the gray matter (synapses) grows explosively, the number of gray matter (synapses) can reach twice the number of adults, this stage of the child's vision, language development is rapid, but the brain enters puberty to make the neural circuits more efficient by “pruning” the neural connections (synapses) that are not commonly used. It follows the principle of “use it or lose it”, so the more a child enjoys learning, the more flexible his brain will be. If a child is addicted to gaming, the brain thinks that the neural connections related to learning are unused and prunes them, and the excessive pruning affects learning and cognitive development.
