This is what I worked on all weekend. The music is controlled by the position of each dancer on stage, using 2 Kinects, SuperCollider and Ableton. The visuals are generated off of a live camera of the dancers, using StreamDiffusion. It took 4 networked computers to accomplish this! https://youtu.be/tEb5xEDCHyg

I had never worked with them before! And we used two of them for this! Needed two computers, since you can only hook up one per machine! So much networking involved in getting this to work

it was awesome when microsoft first released dev kits, people went apeshit š sometime around 2011 i think? had a lot of fun building weird things for advertising agencies

That definitely sounds like fun! I've seen people do very cool creative things with them, and I've played with super collider for over 10 years now so surprised I never got around to trying one. But it was a blast! Definitely going to get started on my next interactive music piece ASAP
