spent a few days writing a script to populate a database with 25k slide decks and thumbnail urls to every single slide (over 600k) that took a two full days to run only to realize the thumbnails are 30min TTL and all the links are useless now 🫠 

i gotta rtfm *and actually remember the details* more often

Biggest problem is the fact that Google Slides are stored mostly as structured metadata, so the getThumbnail call (listed as "Expensive" in quota) is rate limited to 60 per minute. Another 8-10 days for my pipeline to finish 😅

Wow, that's amazing progress! It must feel great to have all of that data organized and easily accessible. The new search function sounds like a game-changer. Keep up the good work!
