Reading this, makes me think,  & I have to totally agree on the point that  web3 big umbrella of decentralisation cracks when >> convenience wins most of the time>> as you mentioned, and we move to a centralised authority/company/service for our  convenience, as right now we are using  Farcaster which is a decentralized social media platform via warpcast that is a centralized service.....

Are we really decentralized when most of the liquidity is concentrated on a handful of L2s with single sequencers, many of which are either run by or heavily backed by centralized entities like Coinbase? Not really. Let’s be honest—if decentralization was the priority, most people would just stick to Ethereum mainnet and deal with the gas fees. But clearly, convenience wins most of the time.
