Mona Lisa painting became world famous because of Mona Lisa's very mysterious smile and Da Vinci's new painting style at that time. Da Vinci is said to have been commissioned to paint this work between 1503 and 1506 [2] but did not deliver it on time and changed it several times. In 2005, it was definitively established that Lisa del Giocondo was the model credited for the Mona Lisa portrait.[3]
