The Ethereum developers have successfully deployed the Pectra update in the new Hoodi testnet - if there are no problems in the main network, the hard fork is expected in 30 days.

Pectra will add account abstraction, raise the upper limit for staking from 32 ETH to 2048 ETH, and increase the maximum number of blobs to increase scalability.
