I’m 26 years old, and at the beginning of this year ( on January 24th, to be exact ), I was blessed with a little brother

Some people in my family say that at this age, I should have my own child. But I’ve always been the black sheep, so… it is what it is

This little brother has been one of the biggest blessings of my life in recent years. I have two younger sisters as well ( we’re close in age, but the gap between me and my brother is much wider )

Even though he doesn’t speak yet ( just observes, gestures, and absorbs the world around him ) I’m learning so much from him

There’s something in his eyes… a kind of peace. A stillness. A reminder of what it means to truly live

He hasn’t been influenced by anyone yet. The programming hasn’t begun ( and I’ll do my best to make sure it never does )

Every time I look at him, I feel calm. He reminds me to explore life more. That I only get one. That my inner child is still there, and maybe it should be the one guiding me🌹
