I went out with my handycam and started recording some scenes, but while filming, I knew this material could become a short film. I read this phrase "LOVE IS THE SEARCH FOR A LOST PARADISE", in a book by Alexander Lowen and from these images, combined with some 3D renders, I wanted to express that on the screen. Filmed with a handycam on a bright morning, post-processed in After Effects, 3D with Blender + AI, and color grading in DaVinci. Hello Twitter was banned in Brazil and Warpcast became an alternative. I've been a user since March 2023, when this place was a desert, and I liked it here. But now I feel like this place really drains my soul. I can't keep up with what it takes to thrive in here, I don't have the time nor the energy. I am sorry for that. Had to google HAVO and VWO :) But I get the picture. Fair points. But it seems to me that the fact that some people can make it big in the US is supported precisely by all those who don't make it big, because money has to come from somewhere. When you say "you can do whatever you want including flouder" what I understand is that who flounders wanted to flounder, like it was their choice or failure and not something that's intricate to the system where they live. Even if the system was perfectly fair, without all the boosts that the already rich families get in their "do whatever you want" saga (like anyone can apply for higher education but almost no one can afford it, right?), even if it was running ideally, many would still have to fail. So yes, it's very high stakes and high risk. I wouldn't want it for myself or my family.
