Hello Twitter was banned in Brazil and Warpcast became an alternative. I've been a user since March 2023, when this place was a desert, and I liked it here. But now I feel like this place really drains my soul. I can't keep up with what it takes to thrive in here, I don't have the time nor the energy. I am sorry for that. I am on telegram @henriquecartaxo, if you'd like to find me there. I am also on Bluesky, though its very silent and there's very few people from the NFT space, it's a nice place. If you really need to get in touch and don't want to use Telegram, ask around, I'm sure you know someone who's got my contact info. I might come back when I have less on my hands and can put in the hours. Until then, all the best!

Had to google HAVO and VWO :) But I get the picture. Fair points. But it seems to me that the fact that some people can make it big in the US is supported precisely by all those who don't make it big, because money has to come from somewhere. When you say "you can do whatever you want including flouder" what I understand is that who flounders wanted to flounder, like it was their choice or failure and not something that's intricate to the system where they live. Even if the system was perfectly fair, without all the boosts that the already rich families get in their "do whatever you want" saga (like anyone can apply for higher education but almost no one can afford it, right?), even if it was running ideally, many would still have to fail. So yes, it's very high stakes and high risk. I wouldn't want it for myself or my family.

So everyone who doesn't get the optimal life in the US will be just someone who didn't want to be great?

It's been horrible. I feel so drained all the time, can't sleep properly... Terrible.

Here's Paul (who is a ghost)'s amazing article that he posted on X about my latest video piece, "How to stand in elevators and be perceived as normal", in two nicely arranged pictures. There are now 5 editions available of the video, which you can find and watch on the link in this post :) https://objkt.com/tokens/KT1Feeb2hAvAnR4vqU2XC5HKXdQNYUZLbHsM/419

Paul (who is a ghost) just wrote the most incredible article, on X, about my video piece "How to stand in elevators and be perceived as normal". It's an amazing feeling to see a piece of work get this kind of love and attention. (looking for a better way to share the article here than just posting a series of screenshots, but in the meantime, here's the X link) https://x.com/_TransparentArt/status/1833680209163276570

I'm not a pro writer and english is not my first language but the thing that's helped me the most was to study syntax. It seems basic but understanding precisely the function of each and every word in a sentence helped me organize my thoughts an informations in a clearer way and that expanded to the macro aspects of a text. It made me more aware of how to spread information and insight hierarchically over the course of a paragraph. One example is that I never put key information on subordinate clauses, and that's a mistake intuition often leads people to do.
