Next steps: 

1. Lay gopher wire 
2. Line the entire inside with HDPE 10mm pond liner (plant safe) 
3. Layer the bottom with 6inch perforated drain pipe; 6 runs of 24ft
4. Fill around and 1inch over the pipe with a “wicking layer” substrate; perlite, vermiculite, pumice, coco coir 
5. Cover that layer with landscaping cloth 
6. Add soil layer over the reservoir / wicking layer
