Nice approach but it is different depends on where we are in bracket and who are our neighbors. In your ranks i believe random strat works the best due to the same people who are on top.

It is all about coast benefit analysis. If you can't make your village safer you have to increase the cost of the raid for the opponent. Otherwise they keep raiding

Mine are similar. I also may defend based on how much of that resource I have. which changes as you go.

I found random works best for me. It is taking human emotion out of the decision-making.

I always defend what I need most at the moment. So if I am stacking, I am defending that resource. But if you mix the trick strategy and defend the other resource, because from outside it looks just too obvious, that helps also. :) But at the end, it is always a 50:50 game :) LOL
