so far one challenge is discoverability, i’m not sure how to find the accounts of people i followed on twitter other than by either (a) searching them specifically or (b) browsing the explore list

overall, really positive sense from using the app and reading the protocol spec. it's really cool that there are so many different clients and frontends and services already, it's a huge breath of fresh air compared to the twitter monoculture

i'm a little curious how well those third party services will scale as the network grows, though. does wider adoption mean that running indexers, crawlers, etc, gets priced out of reach of "hobbyist" / "indie" developers?

another thing that's off-putting to me personally is the intersection of farcaster with the parts of ethereum i don't like ("what if a financial panopticon was good actually?"). the choice of using eth addresses as a pki is good, but it results in (third-party) dashboards like this https://i.imgur.com/EnYKbkI.png
