Microsoft has scheduled a shareholder meeting on December 10, 2024, to discuss the possibility of investing in $BTC This proposal was submitted by the National Center for Public Policy Research (NCPPR), with the aim of using #Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation. The example of MicroStrategy, which has already successfully invested in $BTC, was also cited. However, Microsoft's board of directors recommended that shareholders vote against the proposal, arguing that the company is already evaluating a wide range of investment assets, including #Bitcoin. It should be noted that despite the fact that the vote attracted attention due to the potential of #Bitcoin and market interest, Microsoft is currently prioritizing artificial intelligence over blockchain investments.
