you guys should try to figure out a way to explain onboarding to a child

Trying not to overthink it for the initial version, just following my gut and turning the technically required steps to create an account into an app so that I can iterate from there

Currently it’s
1. Email for account recovery
2. Create passkey
3. Fund account (this can be sponsored by the app in the future or somehow use stripe/Apple Pay)
4. Choose username 
5. Customize profile (pfp/bio/display name)

If you have any ideas for specific things to focus on or feedback I’d love to hear :)

I feel like the create passkey and fund account steps are overcomplicating it, is there a way to just prompt a wallet tx to add the pubkey stored in the app to an existing account / create and add pubkey in one tx? I guess you need to know if the user has a fid already in a clean way, maybe a contract in the middle?
