The last 3 weeks have been the most frustrating and disappointing period of my time on Farecaster. My hub died, and I have not been able to set up one. Which may sound stupid, but wtf, I have been running my own hubs since we were able to run hubs, it's not rocket science. I'd planed to use the free time during holidays to try turn fc1.furl.pro into a frame -but it requires my hub to update the content. I wanted to do add some features to Frago -but it's hard to work without a hub. Instead, I've spent my days on hubble up/down/update, re-installing the VPS, waiting, and then all over again. Such a waste of time... 😢

@harris-
If mine manages to sync successfully I'll give you access and walk through my hub options in the env file that got it running (still pending at the moment, so I'm hesitant to say if it will help until I know for sure it's running properly) but the sync has taken over a week so far and if it means another week of downtime for you then I'll gladly give you access to this 24/7 running node. Have been down a hub since October and it's really frustrating that the standard install and usage path doesn't seem to work for the majority of people

Thanks! What’s even more alarming is that obviously almost all dev activity on Farcaster takes place on hosted hubs like Neynar and nearly no one runs their own hubs… Very disappointing indicator for decentralization.
