Is @fabric like an on-chain version of Stripe for subscriptions and crowdfunding? I've heard it before but never looked into it until I bought a @buoy subscription today. It seems really interesting. Will give it a try when I launch something in the future.

Itโ€™s better than stripe Itโ€™s the future payment rails of the internet If I wasnโ€™t working on buoy Iโ€™d be begging to work at fabric

Main downside to stripe is that payments arenโ€™t automatic. Fabric users have to reup their subscription. Big subscriber loss on that.

Fabric is building a lot of tools to help drive renewals (like DC reminders before and after expiration) as well as warpcast native frames that make it easy to top up Itโ€™s for sure a challenge but thereโ€™s lots of promising stuff in the pipeline

That is promising stuff but this has already been figured out in the web2 world. Recurring payments outperforms because it just keeps going and less decision fatigue.

Sure, but fabric has revenue share + referral rewards It turns your customers into marketers and shareholders The incentives are aligned in a way unlike any other payment rail or loyalty program
