The invention of scissors is attributed to "Leonardo da Vinci", but the ancient Egyptians used a type of scissors around 1500 BC. Where were the first scissors made? "Robert Hinchliffe" in England after Da Vinci's death was the first to expand the manufacture and mass production of scissors in 1761, about 260 years ago.
