If I give it — whether it’s a vow to guard the house, to always come when called (eventually), or simply to love you forever — it’s not just symbolic. It’s real. and when to listen. I trust women who notice the small things, who don’t flinch at big feelings, and who remember that even tiny dogs have very real opinions. WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST VIRTUE? Unconditional love. I don’t keep score. I don’t expect perfection. I love you when you’re your best self, and I love you just the same when you’re a little off, or sad, or ignoring me because you're “working”. WHAT IS YOUR MAIN DEFECT? Short legs. Prone to back issues. Built for devotion, not stairs. My confidence sometimes outweighs my physical capacity. But if belief were a muscle, I’d be jacked. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE VALUE OF YOUR WORD? I may not use spoken words like humans, but I believe in the power of a promise. When I bark at the door, I mean it. Cheese presented without condition or explanation. A lap available on demand. Also, being told “what a good boy” in a tone that suggests I've done something heroic, like saved a village or held the door open for an elderly person, even if all I did was sit down politely. WHAT QUALITY DO YOU APPRECIATE MOST IN A MAN? Pocket availability. Ideally deep. Ideally treat-filled. But also gentleness, steadiness, and the ability to recognize that when I place my paw on his arm, it means I trust him. And that he should open the cheese drawer. WHAT QUALITY DO YOU APPRECIATE MOST IN A WOMAN? Emotional intelligence. Strength that isn't performative. The quiet kind.
