When I was planning the wonderful tour of South Africa, there were hundreds of things I wanted to do. Of course, there is not enough money or vacation days for everything, I guess few have that freedom.

Invoking freedom, I visited the prison where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. I have always admired this man. His story seems truly incredible to me.

There are many places to see in Cape Town, the city of my friend @hoganthereformed, but there is one with a special atmosphere: in SEA POINT a monument called "Perceiving Freedom" was installed, in honor of Mr. Mandela. I can assure you that when you walk along that beach, you breathe an exceptional air !!!

i found a round trip from mexico city to johannesburg for 300 USD which i booked immediately, my trip was planned for april 2019 and long story short covid closed airports and locked us down on march 2019...

still missing africa on my list.

When I managed to travel to South Africa, the ticket was also very cheap, and life there was much cheaper than in Argentina. Of course, it's not like that now. It has an endless number of wonderful places to visit. If you take the Garden Route, which goes from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town, going along the coast, you'll be amazed!
