We thought it would be all about galloping through fields and looking cool on a horse… but nope. Pretty soon they had us cleaning stables, like full-on mucking out after the horses, and we were not ready for that kind of responsibility.
But instead of just saying we wanted to quit — for some reason we couldn’t bring ourselves to do it — we came up with this overly dramatic plan to escape. One day we started quietly slipping away from the stables, one by one, hiding in the tall grass nearby like it was a stealth mission. When we were all together, we ran for the nearest bus stop, constantly looking back, convinced someone would come riding after us.

5. HOW DO YOU CREATE VALUE FOR OTHER PEOPLE?
One of the core things for me, both personally and professionally, is helping people understand each other. To me, translation isn’t just about swapping words from one language to another. It’s about capturing and delivering the same meaning without losing the subtle details that are so important. And it’s not just about the meaning, it’s about the emotion too, which I think is even more important. That’s what I’d call empathy.
