I was rushing to Singapore from my Finnish autumn getaway when the police stopped me and slapped me with a hefty fine for speeding. I wasn’t sure, but I firmly insisted there was no way I had been speeding. Fifteen minutes later, the police called back, admitted I was right, and cancelled the fine. Definitely not a Friday the 13th!
