The hijab isn’t banned in China. If you want to see muslims wearing the hijab, I’d recommend visiting these places, which have a large amount of Hui; a Muslim group from China. 1. Muslim quarter, Xi’an, Shaanxi 2. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region 3. Niujie, Beijing 4. Linxia, Gansu
