the only reason foundry is more popular than ape is that its just better documented.

What parts of the docs can we work on improving? We've made a boatload of changes to docs over 2024

Ape cache is pretty buggy and not well documented and the project toml settings are inconsistent. Ape is superior to foundry in terms of flexibility and devX.

Yeah the cache is something we want to fix (or just rip out entirely in favor of 2nd party plugins that can better cache to disk e.g. Cryo). Fast backfill is a goal for 2025

For the TOML settings, when you come across an inconsistency would you mind creating an issue for it? That feature is new, so likely there are some issues with it.
