I have been working on a font for myself for a couple years it’s nearing being finished but if anyone wants to know what app is used to make lots of fonts, that you can also open font files in like Helvetica to view and play with the paths it’s called Glyphs for mac https://glyphsapp.com/ and it has a free trial

Still a work in progress so not published yet but I am getting close to finishing it. I just mentioned it as to how I know about the app.
